QR code for your event
Paste your website, RSVP form or ticket link and download it free. Make it dynamic and the same printed code can lead somewhere different on the day and afterwards.
Your code appears here as you type.

Events
Why this one should be dynamic
Invitations and programmes go to print months ahead, and what people need changes at least three times: RSVP or registration first, then the schedule and directions on the day, then the photos and the slides. A wedding, a fortieth and a two-day conference all have that shape. One dynamic code on the print covers all three without a second run.
Before
RSVPs without chasing anyone
The code goes straight to the form. No typing a long URL off a card at the kitchen table.
On the day
Re-point it to the schedule
The week before, change the destination to timings, directions and the room plan. Same invitation, same code.
Afterwards
Collect the photos and the slides
Point it at a shared album or the speakers’ decks, and the place cards on every table become an upload link.

The spec sheet for this job
A code that scans on a screen can still fail on paper. These are the numbers that decide it.
Print one at final size, on the final material, and scan it from where a real person will stand - across a table, at arm's length, from the pavement. Do that before the run, not after. It is the only test that matters, and it takes a minute.
- Invitation or ticket
- 20-25 mm square
- Programme
- 20 mm, foot of the page
- Table card
- 40 mm, read by a seated guest
- Welcome board
- One tenth of the distance people stand back
- Colour
- A dark ink on light card - pale grey on cream fails
- Stock and finish
- Test on the real card; foil and deboss over the pattern break it
Our policy
Static codes never expire. Dynamic codes work while you have a plan.
A static QR code carries its destination inside the pattern itself. There is no redirect, no server, nothing anyone can switch off - so the ones you make here are yours forever, free, with no account and no expiry date. If what you need is a code that outlives us, make it static and print it.
A dynamic code is different: it points at a redirect we run on your behalf every time somebody scans it, which is what lets you change the destination after printing. That runs while you have a plan. Cancel and it keeps working for 30 more days, we email you before anything changes, and nothing is ever deleted - your codes, links and scan history all wait for you.

Static or dynamic
Which one belongs on this
Static stays free forever. Dynamic starts at $12 a month once you pass the free plan's 3 codes.
| Static | Dynamic | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free forever | 3 free, then a plan |
| Account needed | No | Yes, to save and edit it |
| Change what it says | Never. The content is inside the pattern | The destination, any time |
| What is inside the code | The content itself - a link, a network, a contact card | A short link we own, which is what you edit |
| Scan analytics | None | Scans, day, city, device |
| Expiry | Never | Never, including after you cancel |
| Best for | Wi-Fi, contact cards, anything that must work offline | Menus, packaging, signage, campaigns |

Questions
Events, answered
- What should an event QR code link to?
- The RSVP or registration form first, because that is what you need back. If the code is dynamic you can move it to the schedule closer to the day, and to the photos or the slides afterwards.
- Can I match the code to our colours?
- Within reason. Dark on light is what phone cameras are built for, so a deep version of your colour on light card works and a pale one on cream does not. Print a test before the run.
- Will older guests manage to scan it?
- Most modern phone cameras scan without an app. Print the web address in small type underneath as well, so nobody is stuck.
- Do I need a separate code for each thing I print?
- Only where you want the numbers apart. One code on the invitation carries the whole story; a second on the programme or the badge tells you whether anyone looked at it.
- Can I add our initials, a monogram or a logo in the middle?
- Yes, up to about a third of the width, and we raise the error correction automatically so the symbol still decodes. We also check the finished image scans before letting you download it.
- What happens after the event if I cancel?
- The code keeps redirecting to whatever you last pointed it at, so an invitation kept in a scrapbook still opens the album years later.
