Our policy
Static codes never expire. Dynamic codes work while you have a plan.
A static QR code carries its destination inside the pattern itself. There is no redirect, no server, nothing anyone can switch off - so the ones you make here are yours forever, free, with no account and no expiry date. If what you need is a code that outlives us, make it static and print it.
A dynamic code is different: it points at a redirect we run on your behalf every time somebody scans it, which is what lets you change the destination after printing. That runs while you have a plan. Cancel and it keeps working for 30 more days, we email you before anything changes, and nothing is ever deleted - your codes, links and scan history all wait for you.

Bulk QR codes, answered
- How many can I generate at once?
- Three free, so you can run the tool and see what it produces before paying for anything. Past that it is a plan, and what you get is not a bigger number — it is codes you can rename and re-point later without reprinting. A single static code stays free and unlimited on the rest of the site.
- Are my URLs uploaded anywhere?
- No. The codes are generated in your browser by JavaScript running on your machine. Nothing in that box is sent to us, which matters if the list is customer links, order numbers or anything else you would rather not hand to a stranger.
- Should I name them?
- Yes, and it matters more than it looks. Put a label before the value separated by a comma or a tab — "Table 4, https://…". It becomes the filename now, and on a plan it becomes the name you search for when one of those links has to change. Finding the right code among fifty called qr-code-17 is the problem naming exists to prevent.
- Can I change where they point later?
- Not these ones. A free bulk code is static: the destination is inside the pattern, so changing it means regenerating and reprinting. If the list is going on labels, assets or packaging that will outlive the URLs, generate them as dynamic codes instead — then any of them can be repointed later without touching the print run.
- Can I upload a CSV?
- Yes. Drop in a .csv or .txt file and the rows are read straight out of it, or download the template if you would rather start from the right shape. The file is read by your browser — it is never uploaded. Pasting a column still works too.
- What should I print them at?
- Download SVGs for anything going to a printer; they are vector and scale to any size. Keep the printed code at least 2cm across, and larger if it will be scanned from more than an arm’s length away.
