Refunds and cancellation

Cancel from the dashboard in two clicks. Ask for a refund within 14 days of a first payment and you get it. Static codes keep working whatever happens; dynamic codes keep redirecting for 30 more days.

Cancelling

Open your dashboard, go to Billing, choose Cancel subscription. That is the whole process. There is no retention offer to click past, no email to send, no phone number to call and no notice period.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Until then nothing changes: you keep every feature of your plan.

What happens to your codes afterwards

Static codes are unaffected, permanently. They carry their destination inside the pattern and never contact us, so cancelling cannot touch them.

Dynamic codes keep redirecting for 30 more days. After that they serve a page saying the code is inactive, rather than an error. We email you before it happens and again when it does.

Nothing is deleted. Your codes, short links, destinations and scan history are all kept, so reactivating at any point turns everything back on with the same links and no reprinting — including the scan history from the period you were away, within your plan's retention window.

Deleting your account is different from cancelling: deletion erases the destinations permanently, so the codes cannot be brought back. If you might want the printed codes again, cancel rather than delete. See the privacy policy for what deletion removes.

Refunds

  • First payment, within 14 days. Ask and we refund it in full, no reason needed. This covers both monthly and annual plans.
  • An accidental renewal. If you meant to cancel and the renewal caught you, tell us within 14 days of the charge and we refund it. This applies to annual renewals too, where the amount is larger and the mistake is more expensive - an annual Starter plan is $120.00 charged at once.
  • The service did not work. If redirects were unavailable or the product did not do what the pricing page says, we refund the affected period whenever you tell us.
  • A charge you do not recognise. Write to us before contacting your bank. We will find it, explain it and refund it if it is ours and it is wrong.

Outside those cases we do not refund part-used periods, because you can cancel at any time and keep the rest of the period you paid for. If your situation is not on this list, ask anyway - we would rather refund you than argue.

How to ask

Email support@example.com from the address on the account and say which charge you mean. We reply within one working day and refunds are issued to the original payment method, usually arriving in five to ten days depending on your bank.

What we will never do

  • Advertise a low introductory price that renews at a much higher one. The price you see on the pricing page is the price that renews, at $12 a month or $10.00 a month equivalent on the annual plan.
  • Pre-select an annual plan without showing the full amount charged today.
  • Renew a subscription on a period shorter than the one you agreed to.
  • Hide cancellation behind a support conversation.

Those four patterns are common in this market and they are the reason people distrust QR code subscriptions. Not using them is a deliberate choice.

Chargebacks

A chargeback suspends the account while the bank investigates, and a suspended account's codes stop redirecting - which is exactly the outcome nobody wants when the codes are already printed. Emailing us first is faster and does not risk your codes.
