What’s inside the SVG
- Shapes, not pixels. Each square is a path. Illustrator, Inkscape, Figma, Affinity and any browser open it.
- Colours as hex. Like #1A1A1A, in RGB. Change them freely, as long as the code stays dark on light.
- The logo is your image. Embedded as the file you uploaded, so it’s only as sharp as that file.
- A frame caption is live text. Set in Helvetica or Arial. Outline it if your printer asks.
- Small. About 4 KB for a short link, 13 KB for a long one, at any print size.
Sending it to a printer
- Place it at 100%, or scale it evenly. Never sharpen it or resave it as a JPG.
- Keep the margin. It starts at 4 squares, the standard’s minimum; widen it in the design panel.
- Keep the original SVG with your brand files. A copy rebuilt from a proof can lose its margin unnoticed.

How do I get a QR code as an SVG?

Can I get a higher resolution PNG?
Yes, through the API: up to 2,000 px wide with a key on any plan. For print, the SVG has no resolution limit at all.
Which file should I send my printer?
The SVG, or the PDF if they ask for one. Keep the PNG for screens and documents.
My printer wants EPS. What do I do?
Open the SVG in Illustrator, Inkscape or Affinity and save it as EPS.
Does resizing break the code?
No, as long as you scale it evenly and keep the blank margin. Stretching it one way or cropping the margin can stop it scanning.
Can I get CMYK?
Not from us: the SVG and PDF are RGB. Your print shop converts them; give them a Pantone reference if a colour must match.
