n8n and Make
Add QRSalt steps to a workflow without writing code. Each step calls the same API with your key, so the same plan rules apply.

Another tool? Any HTTP request step can call the API with your key in an Authorization: Bearer header.
n8n community node
Two nodes and one credential in the npm package n8n-nodes-qrsalt, verified by n8n.
Install
- Open the nodes panel on the canvas and search for QRSalt.
- Under More from the community, open the node and choose Install. Only an instance owner or admin can.
- Add a QRSalt API credential with your key. Saving it checks the key straight away.
Self-hosted, you can also use Settings → Community nodes → Install with the package name, or run npm install n8n-nodes-qrsalt in the n8n data folder and restart. It needs Node.js 22 or newer.

The action node is marked usable as a tool, so an AI Agent node can run its operations.

The trigger needs Business. Turning the workflow on registers its webhook and turning it off removes it. Three workflows you can import are in examples/.
Make app
The app is published in Make and in Make's review. Until it's listed in Make's apps directory, add it through its invite link; searching there won't find it.
Add it
- Sign in to Make and open Add QRSalt to Make.
- Install the app in your organisation.
- In a scenario, add any QRSalt module and create a connection with your API key.

Read a QR code uses no connection. Make an API call takes a path relative to the API, so it can't be pointed at another server.
Keys and permissions
Give each workflow tool its own key, so you can revoke one without breaking the others.
